I thought you’d like to cook me something tasty.

I thought you’d like to go to the cinema with me. There is a good comedy on.

I thought you’d like to help me in my work.

 

2.What a storm of tears!

 

What a good girl!

What a nice day!

What nice weather! (uncountable noun)

What wonderful flowers!

Remember:All the following nouns are uncountable:

Advice, baggage, luggage, furniture, money, information, news, progress, success, traffic, weather, work, knowledge.

These nouns are always singular and are NOT used with a/an

 

3. But I never heard from him any more.

 

She never heard from her farther any more.

I never heard from my old friend any more.

He never heard from his girlfriend any more.

 

4.But somehow I couldn’t help thinking about George.

I couldn’t help admiring him. He is so clever.

She couldn’t help thinking that we have made a big mistake.

We couldn’t help laughing when we look at him.
