How can we make life of animals in the captivity better? We humans have had a long association with wild animals. In the last few thousand years we have depended on them for our very existence. Our grandparents were hunters in early days. And now in every country there are a lot of people that are killing animals for making souvenirs for people from other countries. Now in the 21st century people are trying to make zoo better for animals.People are building bigger cages, to give animals more free space and put in to the cages some things from real forests.
They are trying to do anything so that animals could feel in the zoo as at home. But still it isn t perfect. Firstly, animals haven t got enough free space to run or to jump. The cages are so small that big animals such as tigers or lions can only to walk there. Secondly, another problem is health.All animals in the zoo are unhealthy because they only eat and sleep in the zoo. They become very lazy and start ill. I think that the best zoo must be as big as ten football fields without cages or other things that can be a fence for animals.
Than animals could do anything they want, and if people really want to see them they will walk in this zoo for hours.
