Exercise 235. Read and translate the sentences. Comment on the use of the Future Perfect Continuous.

1. – Do you think you'll be tired in the evening? –Yes, I'll have already been working for eight hours. 2. By this time tomorrow I’ll have been travelling for twelve hours. 3. By the time you get here the people will have been waiting for an hour already. 4. By May, he'll have been riding that bike for five years. 5. By Christmas, I'll have been working for this company for twenty years. 6. They will have been sitting here for 20 minutes when I come. 7. In ten minutes' time I shall have been hanging around here for exactly four hours! 8. When they finish drawing I will have been waiting for them for 30 minutes. 9. Tomorrow it will be a month as they have been working on this project. 10. When the boss sees me, I will have been waiting for him for 2 hours. 11. Exercise 236. Make these sentences negative and interrogative.

1. In 15 minutes Father will have been working in the garden for three hours. 2. Next year Jim will have been studying history for 5 years. 3. In a month they will have been travelling abroad for a year. 4. The workers will have been restoring the buil­ding for a year in autumn. 5.
